Tai Chi classes are taught in the UCAA Martial Arts Centre which is located on the Ballybay Road, Monaghan Town (behind the Fitness Habit Gym). The UCAA Martial Arts Centre has two dedicated training studios, one for Freestyle Karate and the other for Tai Chi. Tai Chi is a gentle form of exercise that can help maintain strength, flexibility and balance while relaxing the body and calming the mind and could be the perfect activity for the rest of your life. Full details can be found on the What is Tai Chi page.
We also teach classes online for anyone who lives too far away from our Centre or for anyone who can't attended a class in person for whatever reason on a particular day. For students who would like recognition for their years of training, gradings in Tai Chi are also possible as well as Instructor Training for people who meet the criteria. |
All classes need to be pre-booked.
If you would like to book a space in a class, please let me know.

What to wear: Just wear some loose comfortable clothes to exercise in, and wear some layers so that, if you are feeling warm, you can take a layer off and if you are cold you can put one back on.
The class is done on a mated floor so no heeled shoes on the mats. Thank you! |
Our online-only class takes place in a purpose built studio which has three different camera angles so that students can see me clearly and three large screens so that I can see the students clearly no matter what direction I'm facing.
